Peeling with PRX T33: Day-by-Day Do's and Don'ts for Week 1
By Glow Your Skin | Facials, micro needling, peeling, PRP, acne treatment, anti-aging treatment | August 28, 2026
Most important rule: for the first 48 hours after your PRX-T33 treatment, keep things cool and calm. Skip heavy sweating, direct sun, hot showers, pools and saunas, and active skincare. Stick to gentle cleansing, a calming moisturizer, and broad-spectrum SPF every morning, especially in Hallandale Beach where the sun is strong year-round.
Our Peeling with PRX T33 appointment is 45 minutes and blends advanced exfoliation with skin-supporting steps like microdermabrasion and ultrasonic therapy, then we finish with SPF so you walk out protected. A lot of our work happens after you leave. If you treat your skin gently for one week, results tend to look more even, last longer, and feel comfortable instead of tight.
This guide is the quick, practical version of what we coach in the treatment room. Save it to your phone so you’re not guessing when you’re heading to Gulfstream Park, planning a beach day, or running around Aventura Mall.
Day 0 to Day 2: PRX peel rules that prevent irritation fast
Right after a PRX peel, your skin is usually calm compared to a more aggressive chemical peel, but it’s still responsive. Some redness can happen, and we want that to settle quickly. Keep the first 24 to 48 hours simple and protective.
Do
- Cleanse gently with lukewarm water. Pat dry, don’t rub.
- Use a fragrance-free moisturizer that feels calming, not active.
- Apply SPF 30+ every morning. If you’re in and out of the car on I-95 or walking the East Hallandale Beach Boulevard corridor, reapply.
- Keep showers cool to warm, not hot.
Don’t
- Don’t do heavy exercise or anything that makes you sweat hard for 48 hours.
- Don’t use saunas, steam rooms, or hot yoga.
- Don’t swim in pools or the ocean. It’s not worth the irritation risk.
- Don’t start active skincare (retinol, AHA/BHA acids, vitamin C, scrubs).
If you’re commuting between Hollywood, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, or North Miami Beach, heat and sun exposure add up without you realizing it. The easiest way to protect your result is to keep your skin cool and shaded for two full days.
Days 3 to 7: the “gentle-care window” that protects PRX T33 peel results
PRX-T33 is known for minimal visible peeling, and that’s often true. But “no flakes” doesn’t mean “back to normal skincare.” For the first week, we treat your skin like it’s freshly polished. That’s how you keep the glow without surprise sensitivity.
Keep doing: gentle cleanse, moisturizer morning and night, and SPF 30+ every morning. In Hallandale Beach humidity, light layers often feel better than one heavy layer. We’d rather you moisturize twice than overheat your skin with thick occlusive products that feel suffocating.
If you notice dry patches or light flaking, don’t pick. Picking turns a small dry spot into a bigger problem. Add hydration, press moisturizer in gently, and let it pass.
Hold off on retinoids, acids, vitamin C, and exfoliating tools for at least 7 days. When you bring them back, go slowly. Every other night is usually plenty at first, and only if your skin feels calm.
Your simple PRX peel routine: cleanser, moisturizer, SPF (and nothing extra)
Post-peel skincare doesn’t need a long product list. In fact, after PRX-T33, the fastest way to throw things off is to “test” new products because you’re excited.
Morning
- Gentle cleanse (or just rinse if you feel dry).
- Fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Broad-spectrum SPF 30+. Mineral SPF is often a good choice if you’re sensitive.
Night
- Gentle cleanse.
- Moisturizer, and a second light layer if you feel tight.
If you booked PRX because you want that bright “prx peel before and after” difference, the boring steps are the ones that keep it. Hydration plus sunscreen is what lets your skin look even-toned instead of stressed.

When to reach out after peel PRX T33 (and what’s normal)
A little redness and mild dryness can be normal, especially in the first day or two. What we don’t want is worsening discomfort or anything that looks intense.
Usually normal: mild pinkness, a warm feeling that settles, light tightness that improves with moisturizer, tiny dry patches.
Reach out to our team: severe redness, blistering, swelling that increases, strong burning, or discomfort that doesn’t improve after 48 hours.
“There are so many facial salons nowadays, but it’s really hard to find a specialist who is truly skilled and actually delivers results.”

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. If something feels off, let us know. We’ll talk you through what you’re seeing and, if needed, we’ll set up a quick check-in. Our location in the Hallandale Beach commercial district makes it easy to pop in if you’re already traveling along the East Hallandale Beach Boulevard corridor.

Timing PRX T33 in Hallandale Beach: beach days, events, and “I need to look good fast” plans
PRX is popular because it tends to fit real life. Still, sun and heat are the two things that can steal your results in a hurry. If you have outdoor plans, schedule your PRX-T33 at least one week before beach days, boat days, or events where you’ll be outside for hours.
If you’re coming in from Pembroke Park or West Park and you need a quick recovery plan, tell us your calendar. We’ll keep your post-care simple so you can enjoy the glow without the guesswork. And if you want someone who’s clear and direct about aftercare, you’ll fit right in here.
Quick reminder: Your first week after peeling PRX T 33 is not the time to add new skincare, try a stronger chemical peel at home, or “scrub off” dryness. Gentle care keeps the result smooth and radiant.
